Legends Look to Capitalize Off Successful Home Stretch
After a roller coaster week at home and two walk-off wins at the College of San Mateo this week, the Legends ran into some trouble in Sonoma and San Francisco over the weekend. The Legends were bested by some great outings from both teams’ starters, along with some timely hitting and clutch moments throughout the weekend for the opposing sides, as the Legends would end up dropping both road games.
The Legends, however, will look to keep swinging it well as they head into a two-game home series against the San Francisco Seagulls once again at College of San Mateo, before heading on the road against Sonoma for a weekend series against the Stompers. Menlo sits just four and a half games back from first place, where the Alameda Merchants currently sit at the top of the CCL North Division.
