The Menlo Park Legends semiprofessional baseball team earned its 19th win of the season against the Bakersfield Braves 4-2 yesterday.

With a 2-2 tie game in the 8th inning, second baseman Pierson Jeremiah broke the game open by knocking in left fielder Abi Arias with a double to left center, and then right fielder Jeff Keller knocked in Jeremiah with the exact same play immediately after.

Starting pitcher Jacob Eichhorn threw six solid innings for the Legends, and CJ Jacobe and Ray Torres finished the job, earning the win and the save respectively.

The Legends host the Braves again today at Cañada College in a doubleheader, beginning at 11:00am.
